    For general extrusion of PE, PP, PS, ABS, etc.,

    Compact bench top unit in modern design. Screw and barrel in high-grade nitride hardened steel, screw diameter 20 mm and L/D ratio of 30.  30 L/D screw with Maddock mixing at 21D and pineapple mixing at screw tip. This screw gives a good mixing and homogenization of the resin with any eventual additives. The extruder can also be supplied with a plain screw which can be useful if the application is for checking gels in a resin, where minimum shear is normally required.
