    Co-Extrusion Blown Film 9 Layer Line

    Co-Extrusion Blown Film 9 Layer Line for films with up to 9 layers.  Available with several versions of computerized controls as well fully automatic weighing hopper resin feeders for optimum control of layer thickness.  9 layers pancake die and 9 extruders all positioned on the floor. The extruders have the following sizes: 7 units 25 mm extruders 2 units 30 mm extruders.  The approximate floor area is 6 X 4.6 meters.  Blown film towers are made with rigid extruded aluminum profiles with a large solid steel base and sub cabinet.  Some of our design features are motorized height adjustment of the Nip-Roll assembly, sub cabinet incorporates the electrical components as well as the blower for the cooling ring (only for standard size air ring). The whole assembly is fitted with four heavy-duty casters where two casters are equipped with brakes. The control panel on the film tower base incorporates digital speed controls for Nip-Roll and wind up as well as turning knob for blower speed. Further it contains Up/Down buttons for the tower height adjustment as well as Start/Stop buttons for Nip-Roll, Wind up, Blower and a pneumatic switch for the lay on and off of the Nip-Rolls. Pneumatically operated film Nip rolls with controls on sub cabinet and optionally equipped with water cooling ring. Infinitely variable speed drive of Nip rolls with heavy duty geared AC motor drive and inverter.  High efficiency single channel cooling ring for optimum cooling efficiency and high stability of the film bubble. The cooling air is supplied from a variable speed 3 HP turbo blower. The RPM of the blower is controlled with a turning knob on the towers control panel and is regulated by an AC frequency inverter. The fan speed regulation optimizes the cooling of the film. Streamlined air distribution nozzles to ensure even air flow all around the cooling ring.  Film bubble stabilizing cage is equipped with a row of Teflon Coated rollers, the rollers can also be made of carbon fiber. Standard surface wind-up system with easy removable bobbins. Standard PVC water pipe or paper tubes can be used as bobbins. Independent variable speed drive by AC gear motor and inverter as well as an adjustable slip clutch for windup.  Separate freestanding central co-extrusion control cabinet incorporating all controls for the film die as well as central speed controls for all extruders.

    Towers type LF-400-COEX, LF-600-COEX and LF-700-COEX: Three sizes of film towers made with rigid extruder aluminum profiles with a large solid steel base and sub cabinet.  Motorized height adjustment of the Nip-Roll assembly.  The sub cabinet incorporates the electrical components as well as the blower for the cooling ring (only for standard size air ring). The whole assembly is fitted with four heavy-duty casters where two casters are equipped with brakes.  The control panel on the film tower base incorporates digital speed controls for Nip-Roll and wind up as well as turning knob for blower speed. Further it contains Up/Down buttons for the tower height adjustment as well as Start/Stop buttons for Nip-Roll, Wind up, Blower and a pneumatic switch for the lay on and off of the Nip-Rolls.  The LF-400 COEX has a roll width 400 mm that can accommodate film lay flat widths of up to 350 mm and the LF-600 COEX tower has a roll width of 600 mm and can accommodate a film width of 550 mm. LF-700 COEX has a roll width 700 mm that can accommodate film lay flat widths of up to 650 mm.  Pneumatically operated film Nip rolls with controls on sub cabinet. One of the Nip rolls is covered with wear resistant rubber and the other has a polished chrome surface. The gate is easy adjustable for various film bubble sizes.  The A-frame (collapsing gate) is also equipped with Carbon Fiber rollers, which ensures an even flattening of the film with minimum contact friction.  The tower is equipped with four guide rollers on the down side.

    World’s smallest Ultra Micro co-extrusion blown film line.  A lot of engineering has gone into this machine, completely designed and built from scratch and the result is truly amazing. This Ultra Micro co-ex film blowing line was again built by Labtech’s engineers and technicians during spare time and presented as gift to our manager. However it worked so well that we decided to offer it to our customer worldwide. It was shown for the first time in March 2015 at the NPE exhibition in USA and it drew a huge crowd at all times during show hours. This line is a fully functional replica of our larger co-ex film blowing lines.

    Compact 3 and 5 layers Co-Extrusion Film Blowing Line

    Our new Compact LCF400 COEX film blowing line is a viable low cost alternative to our regular co-ex film blowing lines. The line has 3 respectively  5 extruders of low boy type connected to a three/ five layer pancake type film blowing die. It is equipped as standard with a rotating nip-roll wind up system where the entire film tower including wind up section is oscillating 360° over the die assembly.

     

    THE LINE FEATURES:

    • Compact design taking up a minimum of floor space
    • Entire line mounted on a sturdy steel podium eliminating the need to secure the extruders and tower to the floor. Steel platform contains all major supply cables, hoses and air ducts giving a very clean appearance with very few visible connections to the extruders and tower.

    Compact Blown Film – Single Extruder Type LF-250

    This new line is designed to produce a professional film with optimum dispersion of colorants. The small internal volume of the die coupled to our smallest 20 mm extruders also gives minimum resin usage with fast colour changeovers.

    The film blowing attachment is connected to our single screw bench top extruder type LBE20-30 with a C-clamp on the flange to the extruder. The attachment is built up on an individual self-supporting frame with lockable casters and thus can be easily removed from the extruder.

    Our new Mini LMF200 COEX film blowing line is a viable low-cost alternative to our regular co-ex film blowing lines. The line has either 3 or 5 extruders of lowboy-type connected to their respective 3 and 5 layer pancake-type film blowing dies. The line is also equipped with an oscillating nip-roll as the the standard haul-off system where the entire film tower including the wind-up section oscillates 360° back and forth over the die assembly.

    THE LINE FEATURES:

    • Compact design taking up a minimum floor space of only 1.9 x 1 m (6.2 x 3.3 ft) plus electric cabinet of 1.1 x 0.4 m ( 3.6×1.3 ft )
    • The entire line is mounted on a sturdy steel podium eliminating the need to secure the extruders and tower to the floor. The steel platform containing all major supply cables, hoses, and air ducts gives a very clean appearance with very few visible connections to the extruders and the tower.
    • Tower assembly is mounted on bearing rails, enabling easy access to the die and air ring.
    • Lowboy type extruders are aligned to the low height of the die for convenient assembly and operation.

    We are pleased to present a unique combination unit of our Ultra Micro Cast film & sheet line type LUMCR-50 and Ultra Micro Blown film line type LUMF-150 supplied on same table top display and using same Ultra Micro Single screw extruder type LE8-30/C, as first presented at the K-show in Dusseldorf 2013.  Both our Ultra Micro lines were secretly designed and built by our engineers and technicians during their spare time and were presented as a New Years gift to our company’s manager. A lot of engineering has gone into these machines which are completely designed and built from scratch and the result is truly amazing. In fact the Ultra Micro lines worked so well that we decided to also start offering them to our customer worldwide.

    The line was secretly designed and built by our engineers and technicians during their spare time and was presented as a New Years gift to our company’s manager. A lot of engineering has gone into this design, completely designed and built from scratch and the result is truly amazing. This Ultra Micro film blowing line worked so well that we decided to offer it to our customer worldwide. It was shown for the first time in April 2012 at the NPE exhibition in USA and it drew a huge crowd at all times during show hours. The original model was a fully functional version and it was made as an exact replica of our larger laboratory film blowing line. However it was made to be a functional model for display and not for professional use.

    We have now completely rebuilt the line using advanced components to make it a fully professional version with same high quality as our other machines so that it can be used for research and learning institutes for many years to come.
